The AI.D Curriculum serves as a theoretical introduction to the topic and informs users about the various materials and how to use them. It particularly provides train-the-trainer instructions to enable further dissemination and broad implementation of the materials across all fields of (vocational) education. Therefore, this document contains detailed instructions on how to structure a workshop using the AI.D project results and select materials with respect to the individual learning objectives.

AI.D combines inter- and transdisciplinary research including educational sciences, technology assessment, social and computer sciences as well as educational practice. The knowledge gained and materials produced in this project contribute to establish a future-proof approach to make sense of AI in learning, teaching and education. The aim of this brief policy paper is 1) to highlight some central challenges in dealing with AI in the education sector; and 2) to outline basic recommendations on how to deal with AI and foster critical AI literacy in education policy and educational practice.
